WELCOME! Friends, family, future and past guests, repeat guests, FB fans, fellow Tweeters, Blog followers and soon to be Pinning pals. Have I left anyone out? I certainly hope not. IT’S FINALLY HERE! Our new website and blog, Innside Peek is finally finished. We are so excited. I honestly have to say, it is over 5 years in the making.
It all started with our logo, which is a representation of the four seasons. This seasonal theme is carried throughout the B&B with the seasonally themed rooms and whether people realize it or not, it is carried throughout the landscape on the grounds. It is also represented in much smaller ways, such as how we change out the dishes we serve breakfast on every Winter, Spring/Summer and Fall. We are all about the change of seasons.
Sure, our original website was fine and served it’s purpose for a B&B who had not yet found it’s way. But, it no longer was a good representation of how we have come into our own. We have grown and evolved and will continue to do so. This new website was designed to evolve and grow with us. We just love it! It has the warmth I craved. It has vibrant and seasonal colors. It has little things like photos we have taken and objects from the B&B that have been transposed right onto the web pages of our new site for design purposes. Our website literally is more of a reflection of who and what we really are. It mirrors and cements our seasonal theme, our eclectic style and our home. Our hope is that all who find themselves on our website and are beckoned to stay with us “get it”. Our website and blog is that first peek into our window of seasons, your home away from home!
If you will indulge me just a bit longer, we really need to acknowledge the woman behind the site. Cindy, owner of Open Door Web Studio. She, unlike many techies of today that I’ve interviewed for design purposes, was open to building a relationship. She was open to come by the B&B to sit down and talk with us. She was open to tour the rooms and grounds. She was open to really listen to us. She heard us, and she nailed it! She was able to take our ideas and random thoughts and make sense of it all through what is now our website. LOVE!!
Hmmm? As I write this, I can not think of a more appropriate and perfect name for her web design business, Open Door Web Studio. It fits her. We are so grateful to her. Really Cindy, THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Also, a quick shout out and THANK YOU to Josh, owner of Asheville Brewery Tours for guiding us Cindy’s way. You both ROCK!
